Welcome
The Republican Women of Henry County (RWHC) is a group of conservative women who promote an informed electorate through political education, who increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government through active political participation, and who support principles and objectives of the Republican Party.
We meet monthly on the second Thursday of the month at 6:30PM at the Golden Corral Restaurant on Jonesboro Road, McDonough, GA. Quarterly luncheons, breakfast meetings and/or dinner meetings are tentatively scheduled on the third Thursday of the month, so check our Calendar Page for time and place.
In addition to campaign activities and projects, the RWHC provided several opportunities for educating its members and the community. Among our many speakers were award winning columnist and author Phil Kent, GA Federation of Republican Women President Valerie Betz, GA GOP 2nd Vice Chair Carolyn Garcia, radio and TV personality and author Herman Cain, numerous local Republicans in office and others knowledgable in politics and government.
The Republican Women of Henry County was chartered in 2002 by a small but energetic group of ladies of the Henry County Republican Party Committee and led by Lynn Wenner. Prior to that time, the organization known as “Henry County Republican Women” existed and served the community for many years.
